A life of service — in uniform, in medicine, and now in public office.
Dr. Jon Maxham has spent his entire adult life in service to others. As a U.S. Air Force officer, he deployed to Afghanistan as a Medical Training Advisor, helping build medical capacity in one of the most challenging environments on earth. That experience forged his character, his discipline, and his unshakeable commitment to those around him.
After returning from deployment, Dr. Maxham continued that service as an internal medicine physician. For over 15 years, he has treated patients with a holistic, personalized approach — treating the whole person, not just managing chronic conditions.
Dr. Maxham believes in restoring the "old ways of healing" — where a doctor knows your name, your history, and your family. That same philosophy guides his approach to government: cut through the bureaucracy and make decisions based on common sense.
Dr. Maxham lives in Henderson with his wife — a fellow veteran and nurse — their two children, and their Huskies. He is a neighbor and community member who has watched local government drift from the values of the people it represents.
Dr. Maxham's campaign is built on defending medical freedom, supporting veterans and first responders, and restoring transparency and accountability to local government.
